Good pedals that do the job
I got these for my Airdyne stationary bike. They do what I expected them to do and I am completely satisfied with them, and the price. I did have to buy reducers, as the bolts that attach the pedals to the pedal arm were of a larger diameter than the wholes in the pedal arms, which I think were 1/2 inch. Check out your pedal arms before you buy to see if you need adapters. It seems there are two common sizes of holes, and adapters are readily available.

A Very Nice Upgrade for My Budget Stationary Bike
I recently bought a budget stationary bike (from BirdFeel, ~$150) to keep my blood pumping while I work at my desk.The BirdFeel bike itself is a decent product overall for the price, but the seat and the pedals both left a great deal to be desired in terms of ergonomics. The pedals, in particular, were small (both in width and length) for my feet. I wear a size 11.5 shoe. Those pedals seem to have been made for someone with much smaller feet. The retention straps were also not great, with only a few positions along their length that stretch over a peg. As I was pedaling, I was aware of the less-than-optimal interface between my feet and the pedals. I don’t necessarily need to be thinking about ergonomics while I’m trying to concentrate on my work.After some searching on Amazon and reading reviews, I decided to give these pedals a try. They weren’t the cheapest, but they appeared to be designed for larger feet.I’m pleased to report that these pedals are a MAJOR upgrade over the original pedals. Each features a large, flat surface on top, and a serrated retention strap with dozens of positions along the length and a lever-actuated release. They’re also counterweighted, so that the top surface is always facing up (a minor perk, but nice).Note that these pedals have a 9/16″ spindle. Some bikes are made for pedals with a 1/2″ spindle. If you’re not sure what size spindles your bike uses, you’ll want to pull a pedal off your bike and measure the spindle before ordering these. If you have a 1/2″ spindle, the peaks of the threads will be right at 1/2″ diameter and no larger. If so, these pedals won’t fit your bike. Note that the difference between 1/2″ and 9/16″ is only 1/16″ (0.063″), so it takes a close eye to discern the difference.
