    bad nut

    I only gave it. four star because the item had a seal that was bent on the barring nut when it arrived. ordered two sets though and only on but of the 8 was considerably questionable.

    Make sure you measure your existing axles

    These worked but I had to use parts from my old axles. Look at your old setup and make sure this kit matches up to what you have. Don’t just look at the axle length. The quick releases are so so and I ended up using my old once. With that said if you do your own repairs and know what you’re doing you can make these work.I’ve had the axles on my bicycle for several weeks now and they are hold up good so far.

    Front and rear axle same diameter (M10)

    Basic cheap setup, but the front axle is M10 (the shimano standard is M9 front, M10 rear), so cones from the previous axle dont fit.

    Shipped fast. Perfect fit to replace solid front axle for 24″ mongoose MTB. I had to use the old exterior bearing cups for the front as those provided were too high / thick. Treads matched perfeclty. Happy w/ this product. Will update review after installing the rear axles.
