    Stylish, comfortable seat

    This seat looks great on my 1980’s Takara 12 speed. Very stylish. I had to move the seat completely forward because I am short (5’8″). You really have to get your two tail bones resting squarely on the back part of the seat in order for this seat to feel comfortable. So adjust your seat forward or backward accordingly. Before I did this the seat was not comfortable at all. The only reason that I did not give this seat 5 stars is because I have no other new seat to compare it to.

    No more achy butt!

    Okay, I’ve only had this seat for a day but i felt compelled to at least give my first impressions. First off shipping was fantastic! Received this less than 48hrs from purchase time (Prime)! Seat was properly packaged when it arrived. The seat is made in China (which is no surprise) but the craftsmanship seems pretty good. The stitching etc…..seems very good. It has carbon fiber around the complete back side of the seat which seems like it will hold up very well when the bike is dropped or turned upside down. The seat was very easy to install (installed on a Diamondback Mountain Bike). I have only gone for a short ride around my neighborhood thus far (maybe 2 miles) but i noticed an immediate difference from my stock saddle. Much more comfortable and I love the anatomic design. I must say i was skeptical that a $20 saddle would make a difference but i think this is shaping up to be a very good purchase. I went to a local bike shop in my area to look at saddles and most of them ranged anywhere from $40 to $200. I think it’s safe to say that this is an absolute bargain compared to those prices!Enjoy!!

    Great seat

    Very comfortable seat, the best I’ve found (apart from my 10 year old Specialized seat which is no longer made). Moderate padding, just about right for me – neither a cushy gel cruiser nor a hard racing saddle. The shape is very similar to the seat on my road bike (Avenir 200 Hybird, Men’s, see http://avenirusa.com/parts-and-accessories/saddles/hybrid/avenir-hybr-200-men-black-blk.html), with a deep center groove, but I prefer the Sunlite, as it has slightly wider pads for my butt cheeks. Of course, every rider is different, so what works for me may not work for you. I’m a man, 185lbs, have ridden regularly my whole life, average about 2,500 miles per year. I ride my mountain bike most of the time, but mostly pavement (I live in NYC). Recently rode the NYCentury, 100 miles, and this seat felt great.One more thing: The image shown here does not match what I bought. Mine is black and charcoal, not white and black. I think other reviewers have commented on that.

    Good replacement worn out stock saddle. Firm cushioning, but there’s always a “but”

    The seat is good and worth the price. The cushioning is firm (seeming hard when you first get on) but comfortable as you ride. The design seems to add to the comfort as well. The cutout takes pressure off the old prostate (excuse me, ladies). Overall, a very good seat. BUT I do have a complaint. It needs to be a wee bit longer toward the front and wider toward the back. I know this is a “sport” seat, so I don’t want some humongous cruiser bike seat. Maybe just a third- to half-inch wider in back and about a half inch longer over all. I’m 5’11” 200lbs. I worked with position and got it ok. I’m going to use it. But finding position not too far up or back is difficult. My fat ass still seems to hang off the back a smidge. Oh well. It’s a good seat for the price.

    Great saddle

    Put this seat on my SE big flyer on recommendation from group people. What a huge improvement over the stock saddle. I’m shaped like Hank Hill and this seat helped with my pressure point sit bones and the center relief with air flow is a huge bonus. I can’t compare to other seats because this the only aftermarket one I have tried but I can see my 5 mile bike rides will be a lot more enjoyable.

    Keep looking for a saddle that suits

    Initially felt awful when tried however once out and about not bad, but not great either. It’s just a bit too ‘sporty’ for me but to be fair this is the sport version so, with hindsight, maybe the comfort version would have been a better choice.
