    Appears to be used. There are nicks in the threads and the spindle bearings are not in good condition. You can feel it resist and click when turning the spindle. Returned for a different manufacturer.

    Bottom bracket

    This is a sealed bearings bottom bracket. It installed easily, but the axel was 110mm, shorter then the 126mm I expected from the ad. This was satisfactory, ordered a126mm.

    good, basic 68mm BB

    I am building a cheap commuter bike for my kid. This fit the bill. It turns freely, and installed easily fitting easily inside my bb shell.I don’t expect a ton of durability from it, but he will not be riding this hard at all. With some basic care this should last a reasonably long amount of time, and be totally functional as a basic bottom bracket.I’ll report back if it develops a “tick” but it’s functional and comfortable to use for now. At the price point of $10 when i purchased it is a good value.
