    Rubber Sheath will Move

    Only 2 stars for sturdiness, simply because the sheath protecting the U bar started moving/creeping down to the point I could not lock/unlock. Remedy was to cut material off as shown, back to good. Otherwise, great lock.

    Deceptive cable specs

    This cable and lock set is a security illusion. The cable is marketed as 0.47 inches thick, but the steel core is only 5 mm. The rest is soft PVC that offers no resistance to cable cutters. That critical detail is nowhere in the product description.I looped the cable around a bike stand and used the U-lock to join its ends. A thief sliced through the cable in seconds (right where the red arrow points in the image). The U-lock was irrelevant.I trusted the cable specs and lost my bike. Do not make the same mistake.
