While the Shimano 105 FC-R7000 Crankset tips the scales at around 100 grams more than its top-end sibling, it's still nowhere near what you'd call heavy. It also shifts with crispness so close to the higher level group that you won't believe that it's less than half the price. Shimano Hollowtech hollow crank arms reduce weight while adding stiffness for more direct power transfer and greater pedaling efficiency. The Hyperdrive 11-speed chainrings, when paired with Shimano's Dual SIS front index shifting, deliver instant, assertive shifts time and time again. Shimano has also increased the space between the large and small rings to reduce chain rub in the small-small gear and a chainline that's optimized for the dropout spacing and chainstay length associated with disc brake road bikes. The Shimano 105 FC 7000 Crankset is available in mid-compact and compact ring options with its asymmetric, 110mm bolt circle diameter. Both versions of this crankset can be had in 170, 172. 5, or 175mm lengths.

11 speed crank with 10 speed drive train
Running with 105 10 drive train work perfect also checked with bike shop before I ran this 11 speed crank with 10 speed they also said it would work. Could not be more happy.

Great upgrade from worn out Praxis
The Praxis Alba crankset on my Specialized bike was wearing out after over 3000 miles. Instead of buying replacement chainrings and a new bottom bracket I decided to just upgrade to this Shimano 105 crankset. The rest of my bike is already 105, so now the whole groupset is. I paired it with a Dura Ace bottom bracket. The front shifts significantly smoother and more quietly now. I also have more options if I ever decide to install a power meter.Since it replaced a 50/34 set of chainrings, no adjustment of the front derailleur was necessary. Combined with a new 105 cassette and Dura Ace chain, it feels like a new bike.

Fit on a 10
As expected, fit on my CAAD 10 105, 10 speed. I know it says it’s for an 11 speed but I’ve had no issues with it, fit fine, no adjustment was needed. been on my bike now for over 200 miles.

New 105 for an old Ultegra
A crash caused my 3 year old Ultegra to separate. Saved myself quite a bit of money by going to the 105 instead of the Ultegra. Very happy with the 105. Installation is easy enough with the right tool. My legs can’t tell the difference.
