Not a firm foam
I got these foam covers for my bicycle handlebars since the existing ones already there are quite dense and hard, and i am prone to tendonitis from too much vibration – which is what has reduced my time riding bicycle. It is hard to tell the actual density of these grips from the pictures and advertisement information, but the foam is super soft – like those orange foam balls the size of your fist that you can squeeze into a flat pancake in your one hand. They are very affordable, but that’s why I guess – would not last a single ride without tearing I am guessing, and definitely won’t help with any shock absorption. Sorry, wish I could say something good about it. I am returning it.

Great replacement
Purchased this as a replacement for foam grips on a walker. After measuring carefully, these fit just perfect. Using soap to get them on was a good suggestion. They’re better than the originals which I can’t purchase from the company. Would purchase again if needed.

Soft and tuff all you need to know is spray with hair spray to install and to keep them in place. I have known this trick for years.

The price is great and all, but these things feel kinda gross in my hand, the squish they have feels like grasping something you probably shouldn’t touch, it’s hard to explain, and they’re so soft I half expect them to simply rip when I grab them.Had to adjust the length on them, and thankfully they cut easily with some dollar-store scissors we have, but then again they cut TOO easily, which isn’t great either.Definitely saved by being so cheap, that’s for sure.

Feels and looks great but unfortunately one of the grips split while fitting on to the handlebar even tho I lubricated them first. Very disappointing

No Frills – Good Comfort – Unlikely Soilicone
The material appears comfortable. This appears to be tight foam, rather than silicone. I am pretty sure of this (if so, the description would be incorrect). I bought it because it said silicone. Not so easy to install, unless you follow these instructions: if you have silicone spray, use it first on your handlebar and allow it to dry. When inserting, try your best to squeeze as little as possible after inserting an end on the handlebar tube. Rotate gently back and forth while installing. Enjoy!… this is not a top of the line product by any means, but will provide comfort for a bit less money than similar products.
