Power and control
This is my first time ever using clip in bike pedals. So I recommend you practice a lot before you go out into traffic. I practiced trying to be careful and still fell. Did get too hurt. A bruise and a bit of my pride. Once I got used to getting in and out of them. OMG! What a difference in power and control.

Great starting pedals to see how you like clipping in. I’m using them on a spin bike and they work great for me. More plastic than I was originally thinking but seems strong and solid feel to them.

This is a very good pedal, especially for the price. It offers a long; wide platform for a good power transfer from foot to pedal with plenty of shoe support for a very comfortable ride with less foot fatigue. It also provides a solid clip in action with a easy release. I would highly recommend them over a standard SPD pedal!

These are more cost effective than Look pedals, provide a good level of float so that my foot has some lateral motion, and they are easily adjustable to provide sure, but not dangerous, hold. I had purchased some Wellgo pedals last year for my new ebike. My Wellgo pedals hold was too secure…and I could not adjust the tension to a point where I did not struggle to release my foot. This is not what you want when in a situation where you need to release your foot quickly. These pedals adjust easily and provide plenty of hold for those who desire foot bondage, but they also provide a lighter hold for those who desire easy of entry and exit out of the pedals. Highly recommend!

These pedals are decent – the finish is good and they appear durable. I purchased these for use when my bike is on a trainer. They are a bit heavy, but they function well. I’m using shoes with some Keo cleats that should work fine, but they don’t. I have to place the front of the cleat in the pedal and then twist my foot in to get the cleat to lock in. I cannot get the cleat to engage by stepping down on the pedal. I suspect the cleats that came with the pedals would work fine, but I’m not swapping them just to find out.

Dry good for the price
I had been using MTB SPD on my road bike-they we’re kid of tricky to snap into with road bike shoes-so I felt unsafe trying to use them. These however are amazingly easy to clip in and out of! The larger foot area really helps transfer more peddling power too! It’s made me more confident when starting from a dead stop at intersections and on hills with how well they work for me.

Squeaky after one month
The first thing I noticed was grease coming out of the seals on both pedals after a few rides, but whatever wipe it off. Second I started hearing this squeaking which was the left pedal. Lucky for me I can make just about any repair to a bike and have a ton of tools so I took the left pedal apart, re-greased it and put it back together. But I should not have to do this after only ~250 miles (7-8 rides) and probably an average person won’t have the tools or know-how.These pedals are bearingless and just rotate on the spindle with a cushion of grease. They are inexpensive entry level pedals that come with cleats and get the job done, but I wish I spent more for something better.For what it’s worth, I have other Rockbros items and have been happy with the quality so I didn’t hesitate to buy these but they are disappointing.
