I figured, it’s a seatpost clamp, what could go wrong? It’s just incredibly junky. The pivots are sloppy, the nut doesn’t turn smoothly, the whole thing flexes so you can’t tell if it’s tight… avoid

Be careful with sizing
My online research told me a 27.2 mm post should use a 31.8 mm clamp, but this clamp was too big. The bike shop I had to visit said it’s not that easy. There’s a number of factors you need to consider. So, my suggestion, unless you really know what you’re doing, I recommend going to a good bike shop to find out the clamp size you need for your seat post.
