The blinky is the best!
I have been using this for about a month now. I bought mines used but they are so convenient. The blinky lasts so long on a full battery once you remember to turn it off when you park. I’d say take the beamer off when you park because it has a quick release which makes it stealable. It does get decently bright.

As others noted, you’re going to get this combo set with the headlight missing. This is an Amazon thing, not a Planet Bike problem. If you reach out to them, they’ll send you a replacement right away. And then you’ll have a perfect low-cost light set for general commuting or your kids. The best feature about these lights is that they take replaceable batteries, which fewer and fewer lights do – so you won’t be pitching them out in a couple years when the lights no longer take a charge. I’ve had one planet bike tail light for 10 years. I’ll take reliability over bells and whistles ANY DAY.
