I ordered the blue alloy ones, not just to get the color I wanted but to reduce the weight of having steel bolts that came with my cranks. It’s a upgrade to give it that rare custom look to my race bike. Obviously it’s not a big difference on performance. My advice, is to used thread lock or you’re mom’s nail polish, snug them up then give them (7 & a half) or (8th) of a turn to tighten them.

they look good, but very very cheaply made, they feel like plastic. Broke two of them and I didnt even had a chance to tight them up. This expected to hold a chainring, well it wont hold anything if they snap like toothpicks. poor product,

Perfect color. Way to brittle….
These were the perfect color and arrived quickly. One snapped the head cap clean off with very little pressure. I sent seller a message 3 days ago and still no response.

So far so good, I want blue! Of coarse we all know steel is stronger. I am stubbornly sticking to the bling even though the last blue anodized ones I used were trash. I am holding out hope these originate ones are made better. They certainly installed well and look killer. Will update if they fail.
