Solid, well made, but metal on metal.
Well made, solid, fits chain and holds two sets of master links. Picked this because it’s aluminum, but didn’t consider how that would affect use as tire lever. Tried them as tire lever and the metal-on-metal scratched rims, went back to plastic levers for normal mnt. This will still work great as chain pliers and emergency tire lever on trail, added a layer of electrical tape just in case I do need to use on my rims.

Compact and functional
Having broken a chain mid-ride, I now faithfully carry a couple of quick links for a road side repair, doing so, I also need to carry some master link pliers. These pliers are exactly what I was looking for, compact and light, they are easy to carry in my gear bag. I probably would not buy these for regular use in a shop setting, but for a road side repair option they are perfect.

Good quality
I got into cycling about 2 months age. I bought a used bike and wanted to remove the chain to clean it and re lube it with a wax base lube. There were no quick links in the chain, so I had to use a chain breaker, then use a quick link to put it back together. I looked at several quick link plyers and this is the one I bought. I like it’s compact size. it holds 2 spare quick links and has a chain holder for installing the links.. I also like how the 2 pieces come apart to use as tire irons. I only used it once so far and it works great. Fits in my small under seat tool bag. I would highly recommend it.

works great for SRAM quick link removal, and convenient having extra links stored in the tools handle….. I don’t use tire levers but nice having them just in case.

Better than wolftooth
Edit: wolftooth work fine on 12 speed where the engagement/disengagment of the links is easier. For 11 speed however, they are no good and the extra leverage offered by these is needed.Original: Got these because I was really annoyed with my wolftooth tool. The last time I tried to use the wolftooth tool to install a master link on a chain, I couldn’t squeeze it hard enough to fully seat the link. On top of that, it only includes one tire lever. I was installing a tube Trailside and had a awful time removing the tire because I only had the wolf tooth single tire lever. Bad design IMHO. Sadly, there arenr many packable masterlink tools out there. This one seemed like the best. It’s longer than the wolftooth so I have more leverage to squeeze the tool. I’ve already tried it on my chain to see if it would provide enough leverage. It does! I then went back to see if my wolftooth tool worked. Like maybe I was doing something wrong before. No… I still couldn’t get the link to engage. I haven’t tried the tire levers yet.As far as build quality and origin, it’s certainly not billit aluminum like the wolftooth. And this same exact tool is all over AliExpress w/different prices.I’ll write back with an update after I’ve had it for a while .

Seller KIEVODE sold me a defective tool and tried to cover it up with a sharpie.
Was sold a tool that was obviously defective, in this case, cosmetically as of now as far as I can tell after just receiving it today. The seller goes under the name: KIEVODE. I wouldn’t purchase from these guys again. Their integrity completely went out the door. Whether or not it was their fault or whoever the wholesaler was, try and do a better job guys. You’d rather sell one product than have a repeat costumer, disappointed really.From these photos, you can clearly tell they tried to cover up a paint defect. I actually have purchased this same tool in the past and have had no issues with it and got another for another bike’s on the go toolbag. I could tell it was a sharpie because I’ve done my own “paintjobs” in the past and can easily see the “purple-black.” Take a gander yourselves.
