騒音はちょっと気になるかも
1番気になるであろう騒音について。一戸建ての家で使うには許容範囲内だと思うが、振動がすごい。マットを敷いて使っているがかなり響く。マンションやアパートで使用するのは厳しいかもしれない。自分は一戸建ての家で使用しているので、概ね満足はしている。

初のローラー台です。負荷を掛けるとタイヤがスリップしてカクカクする感じになり実走感が無くなります。それが嫌で使用する時は、負荷無しでアウタートップにしています。そこがマイナスですが、それ以外は問題なし。高グレードのものは自然な負荷が掛かるのかな？

If you want indoor exercise then this unit does the job.
There wasn’t a lot of information included on the Amazon web page, the main omission being that it’s designed for 27.5” wheels. The roller that presses against the back wheel is adjustable by a couple of inches so the wheel size doesn’t have to be exactly 27.5”. For smaller bikes the unit can still be used, but you’d have to buy an adapter to raise the roller.It’s a very sturdy unit, fairly quiet, and comes with a range of resistances which, as a strong cyclist, I find quite adequate.The quick-release wheel skewer on my bike is compatible with the unit, but if it hadn’t been I would have replaced it with the standard skewer that comes with the unit which, obviously, is compatible.I’ve only been using it a couple of days, but it doesn’t seem to simulate road cycling very well, ie the pedal movements are not smooth like they would be on the road. If all you want is exercise then that shouldn’t be a problem, but with hindsight I think it might have been better to have gone for one of those standard flat-bed three-roller trainers.Some people don’t like the flat rollers because they claim it takes time to get used to keeping their balance, but I used roller trainers a lot in the past so I don’t have a problem.But, of course, that’s an advantage of this upright unit, insofar as the bike remains firmly in place as you ride it.

Budget item
Overall it is a good budget product. But mine had very little to no resistance when using the adjuster (it appeared to be stuck open) and resistance wasn’t smooth. Shame as it very easy to assemble.

Difficult to set up and work
Great difficulty trying to get this to work correctly, in the end I removed the magnetic plate and set it up as fix wheel trainer.

I love it!
I love this thing. The trainer is easy to assemble. All I had to do was add the wheel tension adjuster and the skewer in my rear wheel. It’s quiet, too. The trainer does not come with a front wheel stabilizer, though, but you can pick one up for a minimal amount. I highly recommend this trainer.
