This is a fantastic part, well made, looks good. I mount two lights on it. One right side up, the other upside down, to get both light clamps on the M-Wave. There is no issue having the lights mounted low, my front wheel is a 451cm

Use it for Axle/QR Mounted Light
Great place to put your light. Used it in Ultra night race. One note. My light kept spinning up in my face when on rougher chip seal road . Probably a function of the light/mount. The Serfas USL-1600 E-Lume 1600 is super bright but the backside weighs more than the front causing the spin. EASY FIX….Next race I’ll wrap two or three pieces of Gaffer’s tape around this to make sure light stays put where I first place it on. As I passed people on the night loop, it was easy to see how my added road visibility made the faster sections seems safer, and thus, allowed me to carry more speed.

Perfect location
This mount has allowed us to place a flashing light on the front of our tandem for oncoming vehicles to see. We turn it on and the rear flasher before we head out. Whenever someone coming toward you is passing another car, it is imperative they see you and this mount solves the mounting problem. They see the flasher. Great product. Thanks for the quick shipping. The quality is there with M-Wave. Highly recommend.

Open Ended
I thought this was a solid piece or at least closed ended. It is hollow which makes it lighter weight however it is open ended, i.e., no end cap. Looks kind of cheesy being open ended. They should of at least provided an end cap to seal the opening.

Now I’m safe without blinding drivers
I use a 1000 lumens headlight which numerous car drivers have let me know is blinding. Several times a week a driver will flash his brights when approaching me as you would signal to a car, “Your high beams are on!” Three drivers this year have stopped there car to tell me about the too-bright head light. Mounting the light on the front axle seems to have fixed that without giving up safety or my ability to see the road. Easy to install. Quality accessory.

Great way to attach a front light on your QR skewer
I do a lot of group riding, and always run front and rear lights. My Lezyne front light attached to my front bars—I like switching up my hand position, and the light was in the way. It also could be blinding to other cyclists in the pace line. I ended up installing this light holder on the front skewers of my road and gravel bikes, and it works very well. Still visible ahead, and very sturdy. My light initially slipped down, especially when riding rougher roads or gravel. I remedied this by wrapping the light holder with silicone tape, and haven’t had an issue since.

Best & lightest light mount I have ever put on a bicycle
What a genius idea for a light mount. By using the quick release skewer, it saves the weight of a screw to mount it. It puts my front light at axle level which keeps the beam low like a fog light and lights the ground right in front of me. I’ using a Lezyne 500XL Front light & the beam stretches out a good distance. I’ve used Portland Design Works before but I like this more. It’s lighter & simpler. Well machined & my light stays where I set it.
