Excellent Mid Level kit from Jagwire
I had seen a Jagwire set of cables on my friends bike and he seemed to like them. When I got a new derailleur it appeared as the perfect time to renew the shifting cable so I could take full advantage of the upgraded Shimano XTR derailleurs capability. On opening the box everything was neatly packed and organized. There was enough cable housing included to do a full run to the rear derailleur mount, but if you have a full run to the front derailleur or a dropper post this may be a little too short depending on your bikes size. I was able to do a full run to the rear, and a partial run down the frame leaving some open wire and using the kits included rubber wire bumpers (this is a nice touch) to keep the wire off the frame, to my dropper post. More than enough cable housing ends are included, as well as other small pieces you may find useful depending on your setup. The wires feel very slick and are definitely coated nicely. Overall I am very impressed with this kit even though it is not Jagwires top of the line kit. If you are changing derailleurs do yourself a favor and swap out your cables as well. Worth the investment!

Cable too short!
Nowhere in the description does it say the length and I incorrectly assumed there would be enough cable to fit most any MTB. I have a 19.5″ Trek 3900 and this was about 200mm short for the rear derailleur. I think the length is about 1400mm. The bike has part open/part covered cables, so the sleeves were not going to be an issue. I mean really, how much would it cost to make sure the cables fit all bikes?I had to order some 2000mm SS cables and will keep these short cables for the front derailleur.Other than the length issue, the product seems like it is good quality. But either packaging or the description should give the length of the cables. The packaging says there is 2.7 meters of sleeve, no description of cable length. And the packaging is not shown in the listing.

Ottimo kit completo di tutto ciò che serve (a parte gli attrezzi😅) per la sostituzione di guaine e cavi cambio. Nulla da eccepire sulla qualità, unico appunto è la guaina che un metro più lunga non sarebbe stato male, così basta solo per un utilizzo con uno sfrido di circa 50 cm, non sufficienti nemmeno nel caso si volesse usare per un deragliatore anteriore.

Good cable but about 4″ not enough
I put this on my Specialized Allez ellite, but I had to use old Shimano cable housing on my rear derailleur because they didn’t provide enough shift housing.I’m sure that if you made the absolutely perfect cuts, and knew ahead of time what exactly the right required length of wire and routing you needed for your specific configuration that you would be able to fit it all, but I wasn’t able to completely replace my shift housing.I’m left scratching my head on any place that I put too much cable and I just don’t see it. Long story short, I needed about 6″ more cable and I would have been set, but now I have to live with the old Shimano housing.

Great cables.
First time ever I’ve used a cable that wasn’t SHIMANO. Pack came with both derailleur cables and plenty of cable ends so everything slots into the groove it’s meant to. I lubed them up well and they went in a treat.(internal cables) . Will definitely use again.
