Optimized for Presta valves but can be modified to fit Schrader by expanding the valve opening.

Worked well …
Worked for my purpose – fit perfectly on my rims – have a front rim that has a bad spoke cut / finish – the original tape that came with the rim was paper thin & would cause the tube to puncture – replaced the stock one with this one & the tube seems to be hold up well – tried to clean the rim as well – shaved it down with a Dremel tool … so … ya double approached the problem – but – hey – new rim tape is always a good idea after 2 to 3 years anyway … or annually – especially for the cost of these 🙂

Good rim liners
I just had an issue with an older Cannondale racing bike where the stock rim liners started to crumble, resulting in repeated flats. I bought these liners and found them to be far superior to what was in there. This rim liner is just stretchy enough so that it’s easy to get on the rim, and it then seats nicely. It feels fairly robust and provides a good bed for the tubes. Good product.

Best rim strips out there
Normally, I prefer cloth strips because the plastic, synthetic ones can curl, get hard over time, and lead to slow leaks as they dig into the tube.But with a lot of today’s wheelsets and tire combos which are difficult at best to mount — especially Vittoria and Continental, a thicker (cloth) rim strip can hinder that.These strips are the best of both worlds. They are thin to avoid interfering with mounting and they’re not going affect the tube in any way.Thanks for making a quality product!

Nice upgrade over Velox cloth tape
I was struggling to mount the tires on my old road bike. It was top of the like 20 years ago with very narrow aero clincher rims. I could not get the new tires on without using tire levers. I decided to try replacing the original Velox cloth tape with these rim straps. They’re super thin, effectively reducing the circumference of the middle of the rim which allowed me to mount the tires by hand and reduce the chance of ruining the tube while mounting the tire

It’s ok.
In installed this on a 700c rim. I felt like it was a bit too big as it didn’t feel very snug. My rim has a narrow ⅜” trough where the spoke ends are so this band was a bit too wide but I made it work. Lastly, as others mentioned, the valve hole is too small for a Schrader valve. Luckily, I have hole punches so was able to make it larger. The quality seems good but given the other issues I’ve mentioned I will probably consider something else next time.
