    Nice combo package for the money.

    Nice combo package for the money. I know that there are better cutters out there, and I suppose if I worked at a shop and was using it daily, I would want the quality of a Park Tool, or similar. But for the home mechanic who only uses it a few times a month, you really can’t beat the value. Especially with the box of cable ends which are really nice quality, and would cost almost the same as the whole package if purchased separately.

    Ich hatte erst Bedenken, ob der Bowdenzugschneider wirklich gut und scharf genug ist, um ein Entdrehen der Bowdenzüge beim Schnitt zu verhindern. Die Sorge ist jedoch unbegründet.Die Zange schneidet exakt und sauber; aufschieben und das Fixieren der Endkappen klappt tadellos.Wer sich vorher mit einem Saitenschneider gequält hat, der wird hier Erlösung finden.. ;-)Bei Freunden erfreut sich gerade das Farbsortiment großer Beliebtheit. Insbesondere bei den Damen.So kann man mit Cent – Artikeln viel Freude bereiten.

    Worked for installing bicycle brakes and shift cables.

    I’m not wowed by this product but it got the job done. There was some fraying of the cables but I was still able to put the project together. I’m a female with long fingers and this is not a one handed tool. You need two hands and some quick force to get the cleanest cut. I didn’t use the caps as of yet but they look like a fun addition to a bike.

    Still need a separate crimping tool to crimp the wire end caps or ferrules

    Have yet to use these but looks well made. I like the colored wire ferrules, had to buy a separate crimper to use them best and that was well worthwhile. Recommended.

    Correctly, Professionally terminate your shifter cables

    Not a tool I use often, but certainly when you need one, you need one. There’s cheats of course, maybe linesman’s pliers or needle-nose, but my cable repair on my shifter was super clean, professional, and easy with this tool. People servicing their own bikes (mountain in particular) will find this useful and produce quality results.

    Cuts cable nice quick clean and easy. Don’t know how long they will last but seems to be well built and good quality, only using them for my family’s bicycles so they will work .
