Poor design: sharp seams
I chose these gloves because they appeared to be a good value and I’ve had good luck with Giro gloves in the past. Unfortunately, the design of these gloves places the stiff hook-side velcro back right next to the front/back seam. The velcro backing in then sewn into the seam so that protrudes into the glove and digs into the side wearer’s hands. I ordered a second pair, thinking that this was a manufacturing error, but both pairs were like this. I returned both pairs and bought my daughter some XS adult gloves that were better designed from another company.

Look small but they stretch to a perfect fit
The velcro piece seemed to stick up and wasnt laying flat which is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. My son is 8 and the youth med fit him well. They looked super small but once he tried them on they fit.
