All right, so I got this little horn for my Brompton folding bike, which I used to travel many places and I take it with me through airports. However, I still need a horn in case I need to politely let drivers know. This little plastic horn is more of a novelty than it is functional. It’s not loud enough to alert drivers, especially if they have their window shut and even light music playing. The plastic construction is okay quality. I’m not a fan of the bracket and the silicone band as they’re a proprietary design. If they break, you won’t be able to find a replacement. I do like the USB connector which is like a remote button so you don’t have to take your hand off the handlebar. It also serves as the charging port when the battery is low. Could. E a great trail horn to inform other hikers and riders, but if you need something louder for traffic, I would recommend getting something else. The one thing I don’t like is that there is no button located on the hornet itself. You have to use the plugged in button.

No instructions so it took a bit to figure out you have to charge the horn then connect the button to it. The sounds that come out of it are not 120db, or if they are, there is no depth to the sounds. Tested it by sneaking up behind a pedestrian, and they didn’t realize it was a bike horn until I was close enough for a conversation. Granted that was one test but even I can barely hear it clearly as a bike horn while right behind the thing!Horn body is cheap molded plastic, which was expected but not to the degree of what arrived. Kinda sad honestly. It gives offers bo assurance that others can hear you, and that’s the whole point of it. Cannot recommend.
