Nice little lights, now that they’ve been updated for USB-C charging
These lights WOULD be awesome, except, despite being USB-C themselves, won’t charge from the USB-C ports on any of my chargers (Anker, UGreen). They will ONLY charge via an older fat USB-A port on the charger with a USB-A to USB-C cable (such as comes supplied) to connect to the light. If you’re hoping to use a single USB-C charger+cable to charge all your stuff, forget this junk. I really thought Blackburn was better than this.UPDATE: I contacted them. I argued. They eventually sent me new lights. The new ones have indeed been updated to charge properly via USB-C to C. Updating from 1 to 4 stars, -1 cuz they shouldn’t have been released like that, and I shouldn’t have had to argue.

I had the original 2’fer lights, which were great. These next-gen lights are even better. Brighter, more modes, and quicker switching from white to red. I use the white light as a hands-free light around the house/yard thanks to its clip which I place on my clothing.

VERY BRIGHT, STRONG LIGHT – one of the best!First, why is it called ” 2 Fer “? The light can be either white or red. Click control button 2 times fast and it goes to WHITE and click 2 times fast again and it goes to RED. After that, the sequence of the light click button is 1-on steady, 2- blink on and off 3- pulse 3 times fast: blink, blink, blink, off, and repeat. Mostly 90% good rating, however 2 cautions: This light can be used as white on the front to light the road and it is legal, but the light does NOT make a ‘focused beam’ and for that reason is not safe to light up ones’ path for safe riding, it is like a 180 degree illumination in front of the bicycle and the sides of the road. I, myself, use it on the front, facing down at the road below me, to create a “glow effect” on the road. Also. I dropped the light (easy to do in the darkness) and it came open at the seam where two halves are glued together. It was impossible to reglue it as the wires create pressure from inside and it will noy reseal. I, NOW, glue a line along the seam of every ‘2 Fer’ light (I use 2 red and 2 white) with “Original Super Glue” (avail. on Amazon) before I begin using them.
