We always keep a tire patch in in our saddle bag for rides. I ran out of glue and patches and this kit seems like a good value for the amount of patches. Another tube of glue would have been great. I will not need to carry the whole kit on each ride, just some of the patches, glue and now their scuffing tool/ roller. I like this roller tool, it seems to work well and better than anything I have. The patches and glue seem to be basic, but the 2 sizes are nice. One for pinhole and the other for a little larger patch jobs. So far, they seem pretty good quality and and a good value.

A good thing to pack for long rides
I was always advised to have a spare inner tube with me, but now for long bike rides, I take this kit as well (at least part of it).It’s a small, lightweight, easily secure container, with a wider range of tools for common tire repair needs – rubber cement glue, vulcanizing patches (with two different shapes – well-thought out to plan for different scenarios), and solid repair tools. In most cases, a tube can be repaired, at least to last the completion of a trip. So having some glue and a patch comes in handy.The items are all high quality and reliable. I could immediately tell the tire lever was stronger that what I’ve been using. I’ve never had an issue, but this is easier to use and feels unlikely to break in a repair.I recently put them to use, and found the rubber cement glue to fill a damaged tube, and completely patch it once dried. The patch provided a reliable, air-tight seal for extra protection. I think the tube could continue to be used once patched properly in this manner, vs just getting patched temporarily to replace the tube after the ride.I highly recommend going through the guide on the Amazon listing, to understand how each tool is used. How to apply the patch after glue, how to use the roller, etc. It’s best to understand these beforehand than guess when you actually have a flat tire and need this.
