Better than I expected.
I was expecting this bag to be flimsy on the rack but the insulation helps keep the bags form even when empty. But at the same time you can compress the bag down when empty if you need to store it in a small space. The bag looks good and the insulation seems adequate for this type of bag. The inside has no side pockets but it does have a large expandable pocket on the inside top flap, large enough to hold the biggest cell phone plus extras. The outside has two zippered compartments, one on each side plus a bungee cord on each side. There is also a zippered pocket on the outside of the top flap. These three outside pockets are each large enough to hold the biggest cell phones, maps, some tools, etc. It also includes a detachable shoulder strap and a nice handle on the rear for carrying off the rack, Also three small reflective strips on the back and four straps (one on each side and two in the front) for mounting the bag to the rack. I like this bag and I think it seems priced about right to comparable bags.

This bag is pretty well made and has good attachments to keep it on my escooter. There is decent space inside too. There are side pockets and a top pocket that all zip up, but the side and top pockets aren’t very big. But the bag is good at repelling water. I can fit a six pack of cans inside the bag so it’s plenty big for my needs. I like this bag, it would fit on a bike rack perfectly. good product.

I ordered this insulated trunk bag for my wife’s Townie Go E-bike.The trunk is a perfect size for carrying lunches and snacks while keeping things cool. The trunk can be carried by itself, like a lunch box using the included shoulder strap or a sewn-on web handle located at the back of the trunk.The trunk is made from a waterproof material and even uses seal zippers. The inside of the trunk is insulated with a thin, silver insulation. The inside cover surface of the cooler area includes a small elastic pouch which could hold knives, forks, small packets of milk, condiments or napkins.On the outside surfaces the truck has 3 zippered pouches that are located along both sides and the top. There is also an adjustable, bungee cord system on both sides which really comes in handy for loose items like extra clothing, maps, air pumps, etc. Finally, there is a small fabric attachment patch sewn to the back surface of the trunk for a reflector or taillight.The trunk attaches to a rear rack using 4 hook and loop straps.Two large 1 1/2″ wide straps go around the bottom of the rack holding the truck down and keeping it from shifting side to side. For the electric bike, the straps are long enough to pass around the rack and the battery located on a separate shelf below the top surface of the rack. The straps grip tight and are highly adjustable.At the front of the trunk, 2 smaller 1″ wide straps attach to the bike rack and keep the trunk from moving front to back.The 4 straps adjust easily and do a great job keep the trunk in place.The trunk meets our expectations. It’s well-made from quality materials and includes a number of simple but very useable features.I like the compact size that has enough internal space without looking bulking or big on the back of the bike. Really perfect for day trips. For a man’s style bike, I can still lift my leg high enough to clear the trunk when mounting the bike.Were very happy with the rear rack trunk especially since it fits our E bike and would recommend it.

Does a lot with a relatively small amount of space
The Bobilife trunk bag is best judged, in my opinion, by the multi-use configurations vs their performance of function. Regarding actual construction, it is well built, and stands rigid on it’s own without any contents, so it tends to act like softside luggage. Regarding multi-use, let’s face it….it’s not a carry on for plane travel….it’s a small, light, weather resistant compartment to carry stuff on a bike. There are zippered side compartments and the zig-zag bungee type cords on each side to add just about anything that fits. Honestly, from the perspective of having a place to put your stuff when riding, it is very efficient. Regarding the thinner foil faced lining to use as a cooler, the R value is relatively low, but increasing the thickness of that insulation to increase the R value would kill valuable cubic inches of storage. As such, I think Bobilife struck a reasonable balance of storage size vs cooler R value. Can you pack it with enough ice, drink, and sandwiches for a family of 4?….forget it. Can it be packed for two?….yes. The pics are with a 7″ x 7″ x 1-3/4″ blue ice pack and two 16.9 oz soda bottles. The ice pack is a bit large for this container, but I think it makes sense and will last for a few hours since the R value is low. Anyway, given this load, there is just enough room for a couple of decent sized sandwiches. If the larger soda bottles were traded in for two 12 oz cans, there would be plenty of room for sandwiches, maybe even a couple of 6″ subs. The bike pic is a 26″ wheel bicycle.

looks good…but not as effective as I’d hoped
To be fair…I didn’t get mine for a bicycle…but rather to attach to some travel photography gear, so that we could take some cool drinks, etc. But, out in the open sun…this just isn’t very effective. It did feel surprisingly thin sided when I first opened it…so I think it’s just a lack of insulation compare to other similar items…even my wife’s lunchbox thingy seems to have more insulation. That being said…I get the feeling this is really meant for delivery, or basically grab and go…where anything will only be in it for a few minutes. For that, I think this is great. Really good looking, though it does have that pleather look a lot of weatherproof items tend to. Overall I like it, but I do wish the construction was just a little better. Feels like out here in the subtropics this won’t last long.

Excellent Bike Rear Rack Insulated Trunk Bag – 10L Large Capacity Waterproof Bag
This is an excellent bike bag for lots of different purposes. Because it is insulated, it can be used as a food storage bag to keep things hot or cold. It can also be used for bike travel gear, or even an ebike battery compartment. It fits on well on my rear rack as you can see in the pictures too. Plus, if you use it as a food carrier, you can also quickly detach it from the bike and then by using the included shoulder strap you can carry it with you. It has zippered side compartments along with stretchy cords on both sides for slipping something along that area to store it and then tighten up the stretchy cord to hold it in place. Overall this is a very well built bag, that has lots of room for storing stuff. Very impressed.

Very nice trunk bag
I was looking for a pack to attach to my rear bike rack to hold a few snacks when out for a ride with my wife. I am extremely satisfied with this bag. It attached easily to my rear rack with 4 Velcro straps. Once in place, it is very secure. It comes with a shoulder strap and a handle to easily carry it once removed. There are three zippered compartments, two on the sides, and one on top, all large enough to hold a cell phone. There are also bungee cords on the sides to carry other gear. The insulated compartment is fine, but I would include an ice pack to keep things cold if needed. It appears water resistant, but I have not needed to actually test that out. The bag holds its shape even when empty. I would highly recommend.
