Comes without instructions. Take the long piece and when in the slot turn the dial knob to tighten up onto the handle bar. Then I just snipped off the extra tension strap.

it’s a perfect replacement
The mount for my handle bar flashlight was busted and the light has been sitting in the drawer for awhile now until I saw this mount on Amazon I immediately ordered it. Note that this handle bar light mount is specifically design for the Bontrager Ion Pro headlight. This handlebar light mount is a simple but very effective upgrade for my bike. It fits my Bontrager Ion Pro headlight securely and keeps it firmly in place, even when riding over rough pavement and uneven trails. Installation was quick and straightforward, taking only a few minutes without any complicated adjustments. It actually a lot easier to install than the original OEM mount. Once tightened, the mount stayed solid with absolutely no movement or rattling during my rides. Even though it made of plastic, the construction feels extremely durable and sturdy. It almost seem indestructible. So far after many night ride it has held up well and continues to perform exactly as expected. Overall, this is a dependable, well-designed replacement mount offers excellent value and gives me confidence that my light will stay securely attached.
