(Extra long length black and silver rings review) Top most thread out of the pair stripped on tightenging moderately and necessarily. I bought these extensions in all the three different sizes. The last one was the longest this seller has and lo and behold it gave me the only problem. A stripped thread on the extension adapter and not on the screw itself. Effectively making this tool less effective for what it does. I have yet to try it out on just one bolt. But I don’t feel it’s safe. I will not be buying from this seller/brand again!(Regular length black color review) Make sure when you install this extender that you make certain that there’s no gap between the bearing cone of your steering column all the way up to the center nut of your handlebars crossbar. Because the pressure from turning the center screw pushes down the rings and sleeves onto the bearing cones forcing them into place. That’s when everything seems to fit together best. Just rearrange the spacer rings to fit with your setup. And I made sure that the double screw torque tensioner covered all of the steering shaft before I tightened this project up to completion.
