Yakima makes the best roof rack products. Downside is that the other size I needed was unavailable in black so I have mismatched silver and black crossbars. Not super noticable once the mounts are on it.

My Yakima Railbars appeared to be well-made and easy to use but after the second time I experienced problems with the the plastic covers that are supposed to slide over the mechanism that holds the bars to the car. They would not slide off. And with the covers stuck in place, I can’t remove the railbars from the car.After many back and forth messages with Yakima, they sent a new plastic cover but that did not resolve the issue. The problem is with the twist-lock mechanism holding the covers in place. I am still trying to get Yakima to acknowledge the problem. It appears to be an issue with the design and not just a problem with my product. Of course, I didn’t notice the issue until a couple of days after my 30-day refund window had closed. I just hope Yakima will recognize there is a manufacturing defect that they need to address.

Yakima!! Need I say more!I have been using Yakima products for 15 years and it is the only rack/bars I trust.These are absolutely amazing RailBars! They sit so low on the roof, each bar locks so no one can steal them, and they look oem! Mounted a Yakima Skybox16 and it fits perfectly!!

I can’t stand having bars that are raised far above the roof of my vehicle. These keep the bars at almost the same level as the factory rails they mount to. They are easy to install. They are quiet. They look sharp. And you get your choice of black or silver. Not much else to ask for!
