Exactly what you’d want for triathlon
This is being used for easy-access bike nutrition storage for Ironman 70.3 distances. I don’t have an aero or TT bike with built in nutrition compartments, so I’ll be using a converted road bike for 70.3s. This packet is the perfect size to fit plenty of gels. I’m not sure other reviews are correct in that it only fits a couple; I am able to fit 6-7 gels in it. It’s small and compact, which I wanted, but plenty of space to jam gels in. Looking forward to using this.

Great product. Problem with top-tube boxes/bags for TT bikes is they are either not aero (too big and/or boxy) or they do not secure well. This is sleek and also secures nicely. I have a bike with a stem which the forward facing strap can be secured around. Even if my stem was integrated, I suspect this would still stay upright and inplace nicely with the two bottom straps. Worth the few extra bucks compare to some of the cheaper things sold online. Size is perfect, room for 70.3 worth of nutrition (i.e. half-dozen bars or jells as well as tire spoons). I recommend pairing this with a re-mounted delta xlab with separate multistrike kit as well as a bottle between the bars (many products out there, I have A2 speedfill).Stays secure on top tube, holds enough food, sleek low profile so no aero penalty.

I love this bag and I like the size, unlike other bags that look like motorcycle gas tanks. It is just big enough to carry the essentials, so you’ll have to put the bigger stuff (e.g., tubes, energy bars, tools, chargers, etc.) somewhere else. It looks sleek too.

I really like this top-tube bag. I bought it because I did the 75-mile Cache Gran Fondo in Northern Utah and wanted to be able to easily get to my nutrition stash without having to reach to my back pockets. And that is exactly what it did for me. A couple years ago I rode the 100km Tour De Tucson and had to do that exact thing–reach into my back pockets. This was much better, much easier and much safer. I also put my spare Sram battery and car keys in the bag and then they are out of the way. It is small (and that is what I wanted) so my larger packets still go in my jersey pocket and that works very well for me. I keep chews and other assorted smaller food items in a small ziplock (as shown) and those are readily available.

Tight and Compact
Tight, compact and aero. Most frame bags are bulky and do not sit within the air strip of the bike. While it is small, it is perfect for my needs.

Works great on my bike. Touch smaller than expected and I’ll be adding a hard piece of delrin plastic to keep the stem from running though the front of the bag but I like how it looks and functions.

Perfect for a small snack
I was concerned it might foul on the headset. However, its possible to get it super tight on the top tube, set back a little from the headset. My top tube is wider at the front, which stops it slipping forward. I attach it a little back, and then slide it forward to tighten the fit: this stops it from having any play in the straps. I suggest trimming the straps to size.Note that it is small. I can get 160g of dates in. snack bars, gels etc will be a similar density. Weigh what you want before buying to get an idea if it will fit.I can open the zip easily while riding. There is a snug baffle to tuck the zip pull in to, so it does not rattle.Only reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that the logo on the side of the bag is too loud.
