I should have paid attention to the bad reviews before I bought this. It seemed like a good idea to get more water on my bike for century rides. I followed the installation instructions including using the torque wrench for proper torque. Less than an hour into my first ride with it the bottle flies off the front and I have to swerve to avoid hitting the bottle and taking a spill. I stop, go back and retrieve my bottle. Not until a few more miles do I notice the bottle has cracked and is leaking all over my brakes and front wheel. So it nearly killed me twice. This is NOT a safe product!

Love it, saves time during a race
Amazing tool. This makes it super easy stay properly hydrated while going full speed. It’s well fixed, no problem with bumps whatsoever. The only thing I could wish for is a fixture for my head unit.

It doesn’t pop off if you use the band to secure it to the clip. I wish it was more insulated and higher capacity but it gets me an hour down the road most days. Easy to install. To clean I make sure the straw is cleared of liquid and I leave the bottle upside down to drain and dry. No sign of fungus buildup, but I’ll disinfect it with a bit of vinegar later this summer. I find the straw easy to use. For the price I’m extremely satisfied.

Looked cool, but leaked, didn’t leave space for computer, and broke
There are a number of aero-bottle setups out there, but this is one of the cooler looking ones, so I went for it. Despite it not really lending itself to having a bike computer, I kept it because it looked cool. With the quick-fill cap in and the cover down, it still leaked sports drink all over the front of my bike when I’d hit bumps — but it looked cool, so I stuck with it; I planned to modify it at some point to create a better seal. I went on several training rides with it and it worked well.Then came race morning and I went to strap it on and the strap broke. I didn’t apply excessive force, but it tore and became useless. Not wanting to do my half Ironman without it, I rigged a shim and jammed it into its mount. It was in there very tightly and made it two thirds of the way through the race before I hit the bump that jettisoned it on a downhill. I’m just grateful it didn’t cause an accident for me or anyone else. You need the strap and apparently you have to be delicate with it.So now I’m looking for a new aero bottle setup that: 1: better supports a bike computer, 2: doesn’t leak so much, and 3) is less likely to break.
