Die SpeedPlay Pedalen haben einen sehr guten Halt. Die Platzierung unter dem Schuh ist sehr einfach und gut beschrieben in der Anleitung. Einmal eingeklickt hat man ein sehr gutes Pedalgefühl. Die Fußfreiheit ist überragend. Ich hatte noch nie Probleme raus zu kommen. Alles super!

Ease of use and reliability
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have speedplay pedals on two road bikes..a Trek and a Fuji and I find them easy to clip into and detach when I stop…just need to make a slight twist of the ankle to release. I have taken a fall when I couldn’t release my foot quickly when I make a stop but once you are used to them no falls . I still have them on both bikes and recommend them but play with the release technique until you have it down.

Great pedals!
Switched from Shimano to Speedplay due to knee issues and feet positioning. These pedals really helped alleviate my knee problems and they are very nice looking pedals and seems well built. So far so good. Also the Low stack height coupled with shorter cranks increases comfort.

Excellent pedals
I’ve now replaced two sets of Speedplay with the new Wahoo and prefer the sealed bearings to the old ones which were difficult to lubricate. The cleats are excellent and the walkables seem to be more secure now. Durability is of course measured over time.

OMG such Garbage!
What complete garbage! I followed the instructions exactly, then lubed everything and could not get one of the cleats into the pedals and the other one, I could after many, many attempts, but then I had to get it just right, then once in it was near impossible to get out of the pedal. I finally was able to release the heel but then unable to release the toe. Both me and my husband who is very mechanical and can get anything to work, were unable to make these things work. We probably spent about 2-3 hours working on it, but still unsuccessful. Too bad, as I loved these pedal befor Wahoo bought them.

Speed plays are the best!
I have been riding since 2001. This is my 2nd pair of speedplays zero’s, bought for a new bike. I have ridden many different pedals and I always come back to speedplays.Easy to clip in and out,Dual sided entry,I’ve put over 25,000 on my first pair of speedplays and they are still going strong on that bike.Most degree of float of any road pedal out there. Can’t go wrong with speedplays!
