    Well worth the purchase price

    While it did not fit properly on my handlebar, I modified a few things and made it fit without changing the design of the lever. I used a strip of cloth and some electrical tape to make it fit on the handlebar of my dual suspension bicycle. I have nothing but praise for the brake lever, as it was simple to install.

    Pictures do not show that the manufacturer’s name is written on the levers

    The are pretty standard Taiwanese/Chinese cross top brake levers sold by a variety of sellers. They are painted black, look nice, and of good quality. But then they spoiled their product by writing their strange company name “CASSUCC” in capital letters on the levers. Maybe I’m too picky but I found the levers ugly. The pictures showed plain black levers. That’s what I wanted. Not the company’s name displayed so prominently. So I returned them. I tried ordering another pair from another vender. Same problem. Pictures showed plain levers but when they showed up they had the manufacturer’s name on them again. Finally, I ordered a pair from Cane Creek. Maybe I’m a bike snob. But I figured that if I have to display the manufacturer’s name on my bike (free advertising for them) I would go with a top notch company.

    These in-line brake levers improve comfort and safety. Easy to install.
