Good Sunglasses For Sports Requiring Snug Fitting Glasses

Yesterday I received my Uvex polarized sports sunglasses and I’ve been wearing them since. Overall I’m happy with them and they are pretty good quality. I like how they are polarized and have the outside mirror finish. The plastic quality on them seem good, but not super high quality that you’d find on more expensive brands, but for the price point it is reasonable and expected. They definitely fit snug on the face, maybe too snug for some people, but after all they are running and cycling glasses so they need to stay securely on the face. I plan on using these when I go cycling too. Happy to have purchased these glasses and I do recommend them if you want usable cycling/glasses at a reasonable price point.

    ohne Brillenetui

    Nice but pricey

My go-to eyewear last summer was a pair of Maxx Domain TR90 sunglasses. They’re made in Taiwan and retail for a little over $20 on Amazon. I picked them up for about that much at a local bait shop. While they’re still usable, the lenses are getting scratched up. Time for a new pair. These sunglasses from UVEX look sharp and seem worth a try. Here’s how they compare:- The UVEX cost 3x the Maxx.- Both have polarized lenses.- Both pairs claim UVA & UVB protection.- UVEX claims UVC protection as well. UVC comes from manmade sources and isn’t an issue for my outdoor sports (running, cycling, fishing)- UVEX has an adjustable/replaceable nose bridge; the Maxx does not.- Maxx is lighter, mostly b/c it’s a half-frame design. The UVEX is a full-frame design.- Both are comfortable enough to wear all day long, which matters for skiing and fishing.- UVEX hinges are sturdier.Overall, I’d say it’s worth spending more on the UVEX pair than I did on the Maxx sunglasses. But 3x more? Probably not.

Good lenses but a little tight on fit

The Good:-Good lenses-Feel well constructed-StylishThe Bad:-A little tight on faceThe Bottom Line:I just tried these uvex polarized sunglasses and the lenses are great. They are clear and polarized. The style looks cool and athletic. The only issue I had was that the glasses fit a bit tight and the nose bridge doesn’t seem great for flatter noses. Overall, I would recommend these sunglasses if they fit your face.

    High quality and durable

These glasses will definitely keep the sun out. Very durable and feels like a rubber or silicone material. When looking thru… these rest nicely on your nose. Nice spring like bounce when you collapse them too. Great gift idea and very nice product for the price. Very happy and satisfied 😊
