Solid chain for securing my scooter, but the key to lock feel very weak
I found the chain itself to be heavy duty, with a nice protective sleeve on the outside that keeps it from scratching up my e-scooter. The chain length is great, and having two different locking methods is very convenient. I have easily wrapped it around thin to medium tree trunks to keep my scooter secure when I am out.However, the locking mechanism and the key are where this setup falls short for me. The key lock is confusing because even when I turn it, the tactile feedback is so vague that I have a hard time telling whether it is actually locked or not. On top of that, the key itself is remarkably thin and feels like it could easily snap if I am not careful. It definitely feels like the weakest link of the entire system.Overall, while the chain itself is solid, the lock and key mechanism could use some major improvements before I would fully trust it.

This is a typical chain lock with a unique handcuff style lock at one end to make it compatible with e-scooters. The feels high quality which unfortunately makes it on the heavier side. All in all a good product. If I had to make one suggestion, it would be to offer a carrying case of some sort.

No bike lock is perfect but this one does its job well
This is a solid first line of defense against theft. It is lightweight and easy to carry but that also means it is really not that hard to break. The clamping mechanism would be easily shattered with some decent metal blunt forth trauma. But that is true of all chain locks; they can all be broken easy enough if the theft has the tools to do so.The point of these type of locks is to top the casual thief and this more than does that adequately. Its small and lightweight and really fast and easy to toss on your bike or scooter and attach to pretty much anything.Its not perfect but it does what it does well enough for the price and convenience. If someone really wants your bike they will get it.

I’m extremely impressed with this upgraded scooter lock that’s 42” and is definitely heavy duty as described in the listing. It does weigh a little bit for a bike lock at 1.6 pounds but I don’t really notice the extra weight in my backpack or if I attach it to my bike. I think it’s extremely well made, love the design that keeps it from scratching my bike and like that there are several ways to use it to lock my bike. The way the lock is designed makes it super easy to secure my bike to various places fences, posts and bike racks like Method 1 for thick posts. I find wrapping the chain around the post and then putting the cuff lock through the steel loop to be pretty ingenious instead of simply wrapping the chain around the post. It’s much easier to do this method and I feel confident that such a thick heavy duty chain will be extremely hard to cut through and would be thieves would just move onto a different bike with a thinner chain. I think the price is excellent, the quality is exceptional and I’m extremely pleased to have this thick steel chain protecting my bike. I use this lock all the time and appreciate all the time it saves me since I switched from less modern cable bike locks. The size is perfect for my needs!

A Heavy duty lock for your bike, dirt bike, e-bike, stroller etc.
I actually got this because my mom wanted to take a family trip and I figured this would be a great thing to have so that my nieces stroller could be locked up, if needed. The trip had to be postponed and happened yet, so this hasnt been needed.This lock looks heavy duty and it definitely is, emphasis on the heavy. The pictures dont do it justice, its a pretty solidly built chain under the black cover, and it heavier than you would think. The weight is a bit of a downside, especially if you plan to carry it on a bike or scooter, but that also means it will take some tools or something to cut it off. (I honestly cant commit on if the lock could be picked, I have no clue on that!)It comes with 2 keys and had a few different ways that you can lock it up, which makes it flexible to use on a bike, stroller, dirt bike, or anything of that nature. While it isnt a huge amount of weight, I coudnt see myself carrying this around on a scooter or in a backpack, so that might not be the use I would suggest.But It does what it says it does, with no real frills or tricks. Just sturdy, tough, and solid! If thats what you need, and the weight wont be an issue, then this is a solid option!
