Small Frame Solution
I bought this product because I have a 17.5″ frame moutain bike. This allows you to easily insert a water bottle into and out of your water bottle cage.

The product itself is good, unfortunately, my bike has a very small frame and the added “thickness” that this was adding to my bottle cage was making the bottle even harder to get it, even with the added rotational adoption.

Works well, wish it could tilt more
It tilts just like the picture. But that’s it. If you wanted your bottle to be angled more than 30 degrees, it’s a problem with this adapter. Of course this is probably fine for 99% of installations out there. I wanted to mount a rather large bottle on my wife’s small bike frame and even with this adapter, the bottle still hits her lock. If it angled another 10-20 degrees it would probably be fine. So don’t read this as a negative review – the quality and construction is fine for what you’d expect from Topeak. It’s just that for my installation I needed more angle. If you just need the bottle to angle slightly out from the frame, like in the pic, then this is the best one out there.

Not what I was exspecting I was hoping it had more than just two locking spots the photo shows just what it does and how far it moves. Just do not buy a bottle cage of light weight material you will have to grab the whole bottle and cage to move it the spring is very Stiff.

Meh, wobbly, and bottle sticks out way too much.
It’s a smart invention, but ultimately I think it’s useless. Even though it only twists a tiny bit (like the picture shows), my Camelbak Podium Big Chill 25 oz Bottle sticks out like crazy and always hits my legs while riding my mountain bike, which has a small top triangle and only barely fits my bottle. I use this with the Topeak Modula Waterbottle Cage 2 and I discovered that the problem is more with the bottle cage itself. The base is very thick and so the bottle can’t go in all that much and therefore always rubs against my top tube or ends up popping out a little on the side. This thing is also kind of shaky, not that it will break off, but it allows the cage to move too much.The construction is Topeak quality (that is, very durable) but I just don’t see how this is useful for regular bikes. If you have a folding bike where the frame is small but the bottle cage isn’t close to your pedals, then yeah maybe this will do the trick, but for me it was a waste of a few bucks, whatever no biggie, it’s still pretty creative, although it’s uses are very limited.

Ich bin von dieser Halterung nicht so Überzeugt. Sie ist Schwergängig und erleichtert mir nicht unbedingtdas rausnehmen der Flasche. Schade…die Idee ist aber gut und die Qualität ist auch gut.
