Error code 1*5 when installed. Took it apart and found one wire was not soldered on sensor. NO solder at all. It was fine once I soldered it on though, and it fits well.

Just unscrew the small black panel and leave the wire behind on the brake. Do the same on the replacement reattach the panel to the new brake unit.

We found out the hard way that it doesn’t take much to snap of the front handle break on these scooters. Been looking for awhile to find the exact replacement, and actually ordered a couple different items that appeared to be what I needed, but were just a little different and resulted in system errors when powered on. This one was perfect! In fact, on the Ninebot, you don’t even need to replace the wired portion… just remove the two small screws on the bottom piece where the wires are attached, and reattach to the replacement brake handle assembly. 5 minute replacement and good as new!
