I love tigers, they are big
I love tigers, they are big, orange, and can sneak up on you without you knowing. I love TIGR because it blocks thieves from stealing my bike from large orange sneaky people. I have one lock, three holders. I use this lock for two of my bikes and electric scooter. No one tries to steal when this is latched on, it’s a gorgeous product that has a purpose. I would recommend to anyone needing a lock for a bike/scooter.

Brittle mount
The TIGR lock is great, but the mount needs work. I had purchased this one to replace the one that had come with the lock. Both mounts broke at the same spot on the the top screw mount. The second one only lasted about 6 weeks.

I would give this five stars but like anything flexible that holds a Ti components on by clipping, the plastic part will break. That said I’ve ridden over some seriously bumpy roads gravel trails and the lock has remained in place. Just plan on having to replace it eventually.

Breaks for no apparent reason
I like the design of the mount and the tigr lock in general, but this is my third mount in a year and I’m starting to get annoyed that a premium bike lock company using premium ti parts is continuing to produce such a cheap and brittle mount. It’s almost enough to go back to my mini u lock, which is smaller and easier to carry without a bracket. Would much rather not spend $10 every 8-10 months on a lock that already costs $100.

I appreciate the more reinforced body of the lock frame which is certainly an improvement over the original design, but oddly, they don’t include two screws. one screw is not enough, the whole thing jiggles around and the lock fell out in the middle of a busy intersection. I made a trip to the hardware store to get another screw, and of course, the guy who helped me gave me the wrong size. So now I just have another errand to re-do and a lock holder that I can’t use. See how much difference a screw makes?

Good option to clip to a bike frame.
Fits a TiGr Mini perfectly. It’s light, easy to install onto a bike frame, sturdy enough for a city ride and wouid work for most bikes. It’s only meant for TiGr locks, so it won’t work with other brands. But it adds a lot of value, so you don’t have the lock rattling around on your bike when traveling or in your bag. So lack of versatility is made up for it’s specific use.

I consider this to be an absolute must-have accessory for anyone using, or considering using, a TiGr Mini / Mini+ bike lock. It securely holds the TiGr lock in place when not in use. The holder is designed so that there is zero looseness or rattle when the lock is clamped into it. Removal and replacement of the lock in an out of the holder is effortless. It is lightweight and solidly built with metal and abs plastics. Very straightforward to install, it does not include mounting screws, but any typical bottle cage frame mounting screws can be used. Great value for use with a TiGr bike lock.
