Just get this ANT solution for Zwift and skip the headaches with lesser products that cause problems!
Wish I had bought this when I first got into virtual riding like Zwift long ago! Trying to shave a dollar here and there, I bought a simple USB Ant+ (Garmin?) tha plugged directly into my laptop with no extensions and about 4′ away from my trainer. For months I had a never ending train of problems that I attributed to other issues, like low batteries and weak trainer transmission power. First the Wahoo heart rate strap was iffy, then the cadence sensor would go in and out and Zwift power changes lagged significantly–it was awful. I also had significant calibration issues on most rides with a Cyclops Magnus (which isn’t a low end trainer). After watching a Shane Miller YouTube video on this product, I wondered if this antenna would help at all, and I was getting desperate. After using this for the first five minutes, I saw that this product solved all of my issues and I am wishing I had bought it long ago. Fifty five miles later, no doubt in my mind. No lags, no dropouts, no problems whatsoever. Just plug it in and ride–highly recommended!

Plug and play.
Plug and play! No driver or download needed. It works great. It connected from over 10’. I would recommend it.

Don’t waste your money on other ANT+ units
After half a dozen ANT+ antennas for use with my Wahoo stationary bike, Garmin watch, and chest strap, I finally found this gem. This has much better range and doesn’t drop out like the others I’ve tried. It’s 3 times the price of a cheap dongle but so worth it.

Using my Kickr is now a breeze
I started using Zwift 3 years ago to keep in shape during the winter season in the PNW. Have to admit I never enjoyed indoor cycling on rollers or fixed trainers but interactive rolling resistance with a screen to watch you riding/racing with others is a game changer. I love it!A All this time I’ve had terrible ANT+ and Bluetooth dropouts. Even using a Garmin ANT+ dongle. Went through 3 Kickers during this time ( bad bearings, one died completely, the other just stopped changing resistance. All replaced by Wahoo under warranty). The dropouts kept persisting especially in structured workouts and group rides/races. Nothing sucks more than seeing the Peloton ride away from you while you keep frantically spinning to keep up! Finally after reading several reviews I opted for this Tacx ANT+ antenna. WOW what a difference. So far 4 rides/races NO DROPOUTS! It’s like a miracle. I’d highly recommend it. The seller shipped fast too. No complaints here! This is well worth the cost for seamless connectivity. BTW I use a MacBook Air to connect online.

It’s an excellent addition to my cycling system
It’s a simple product that should last a long time. Unlike most ant+ sensors this one is powered through the USB port connection and is therefor able to better pick up and clean up the signal it receives.

Works great if you have the drivers
I’m using this unit on Windows 10 64-bit and had no problems with the device detecting to a Saris H3 and Wahoo Kickr (2021 ver). I’ve used it with Zwift, Rouvy, and BigRingVR. BigRingVR requires that a 3rd party usb driver to make it work. This is an optional generic driver that you have to select (under Windows Update -> Optional I believe) for Windows to add it. When done right, under Device Manager, this device will show up under usblib-win32 device. Rouvy and Zwift can pick up this usb antenna without this driver setup in place.

Finally a reliable ANT+ solution
I use this with a Stages SB20 Smartbike and it connects quickly, easily and most importantly reliably. I previously used an ANT+ dongle but got fed up with repeated dropouts.

Works perfectly
Although Bluetooth works, I really wanted to use ANT+ to connect all my pain cave equipment. As my PC is at the front of the bike, I was looking for an extension for my ANT+ dongle. This works so much better! Cord is not super long (will not reach past the front of the bike) so just ordered a USB extension with it.Zero interference with BT (audiobooks when I ride) and so far no dropout issues.Very happy.

Don’t even bother
Not worth the money at all. I have a trainer set up with a Wahoo Kickr, Wahoo Cadence Sensor, and a Wahoo Heart Rate Monitor. My pain cave is only about 200 square feet total and I have the Tacx Ant+ sitting less than 36 inches away from any of the sensors and it doesn’t even work as well as the $6 micro Ant+ antenna that I had previously. When analyzing the Ant+ signals using Zwift Analyzer, the $6 antenna outperforms the Tacx about 10:1 i.e the sensors re-pair with nearly 10 times as much with the Tacx.I’ve gone through the process of cleaning up the signals in the pain cave, tried switching channels using 1,2, and 3 on the router – makes little to no difference. It’s simply not a good productIt’s a complete waste of money imho.
