    Nice riser

This riser does exactly what it is intended to do. It holds the front wheel of your bike steady while on a trainer. It is not as tall as I would like, but I could pretty much tell by looking at the pics that would be the case. I just set it on wooden block and it’s good. This riser may be high enough for you or it may not. It depends on the type of trainer you use. My trainer keeps the rear of the bike pretty high, but it’s a really cheap trainer. If you have a trainer that is lower, this riser should be fine. The point is to have the front and rear wheels at the same level, just as they would be on the road. This is a quality riser and nice looking. It stays put on carpet, wood flooring and on a standard wooden block.

    Great riser block replacement.

After purchasing an indoor trainer from a friend I realized that he lost the front holder/riser and it was now on me to buy a new one. I chose this one because it supports the hole portion of the front tire that it touches unlike the other ones I looked at just supported at the outer diameter. This fits my bike tire great and has room for bigger tires as well, 23 x 700c. If I want it to be higher I just add a book or two under the base and it works great.

    Excellent product

I purchased this product with hesitation because other reviews say that it slides on the floor. Well, I took a chance knowing that I would use it on a carpeted floor. It works great! The riser does not move and inch and the bike is very steady. Even when I pedal very fast, the whole bike stays put. I highly recommend this product…do note that I cannot speak for how it performs on floors. My guess is though, that if you are on a rough floor (ie, baseman), the riser would stay put just the same as on a carpeted floor.

    Overprice 1.5″ lift

It is what it claims to be, a piece of plastic that elevates the front wheel of your bike 1.5 inches from the floor. You’d probably expect to pay as much as $2.50 for such an innovation. It weighs all of nothing and it’s made of the highest quality cheap plastic. It hasn’t broken yet, so there’s that. I just can’t believe I paid for this instead of rigging my own wheel stand from wooden blocks or something. Am I really lazy enough to buy this ridiculously overpriced hunk of plastic? Apparently so. Shame on me, I’m the reason they can get away with selling them at this inflated price. Currently on sale for $11.46.

Quality riser for a good price

This is a nice product that suits all the needs of using it with a trainer. Cheaper than the competitors and just as user friendly. If you’re really in a pinch, you could use some phone books or something of the like but they may not be as stable as this.

    Works Great

Got this with the RAD Magnetic Bike Trainer. This works great and keeps the front wheel nice and sturdy (not moving) and keeps the front elevated to the same level as the trainer. My 700c front wheel fits in this perfect and does not move or anything when using this. This is a nice size (where it stays in place) and keeps everything perfect. I use it on carpet and it does not move or anything. I am very happy with this, it is was cheap (price wise) and is high quality plastic that does its job!!

    Great solution for me

I really like this wheel block. It’s the first one I purchased that is able to maintain a lower profile as the rear wheel on my trainer (currently using a 1up USA fluid trainer) is only raised a few inches. Using the CycleOps wheel riser made my saddle point upwards, giving me a very uncomfortable position while on the trainer which led to unproductive workouts due to the pain/discomfort. This thing fixed the problem at a fraction of the price, and it does much better than a phone book.

    Does the job

Does the job effectively, props the wheel up and hold it in place.
