    Good and Solid

    You of course expected that from Sram. This was a necessary replacement for my very worn gears and did the job. I wonder if it is a new harder material because the bike shifts better than when it was new and the metal looks like a different color. It works. That is all that matters.

    Perfect

    After partial knee replacement on both knees I was looking for a lower gear, or two, to help on steep climbs while the knees regain their strength. A fellow riding partner recommended a smaller chainring. Going from a 24T to a 22T is exactly what I was looking for! Since my crankset is already a SRAM/Truvativ the replacement was seamless. After a minor adjustment to the front derailleur, the gears shift perfectly!

    Van perfectos, coloque este plato sustituyendo el plato original de un pedalier sram x5 24-38 aunque ponia ‘only 24’ pero encaja y funciona genial, .. Tengo un bici de 29″ y creo que plato 24 es un poco optimista o estas muy muy en forma.

    Great replacement

    My chain kept slipping of the inner ring of my Giant Talon mtb. Replaced with this one item and now runs smooth and true without falling off. Would thoroughly recommend.

    Cheap worthless product and poor customer service

    I had nothing but problems with this chainring. I had adjusted my shifting and replaced the chain. Within 2 months numerous teeth had worn down causing more issues. When I contacted Planet Cyclery, it took a long time to even hear back from them. They sent more emails concerned about how I’d rate their customer service than actually providing customer service. In the end, even with pictures, they said that that’s how the chainring was designed. Which is total crap. So now I’m stuck with with a worn out chainring. Spend your money on a quality chainring. Do NOT waste it on this piece of junk. Whatever one you buy, buy it from a company that actually has good customer support and stands behind the products they sell.

    Legit

    Purchased as a replacement on my SRAM crankset. This chainring made it through at least a year and a half of strictly off road riding including mud and muck. I did clean the drivetrain after every ride to prolong all the components and replaced the chain once. I also race cross country and this chainring made through an entire race season plus all the training in between. I finally started to experience chainsuck after I’m guessing 700-800 rough miles and considering how I ride that is normal wear and tear for me on these level of components. Will buy again.
