    Nice upgrade for Sram NX and GX Eagle derailleurs.

    I used this package on my GX Eagle derailleur to get rid of the split ring that holds the b-bolt to the derailleur. If you ever have to re-install the split ring, be warned that it’s a giant pain. This replaces the split ring with a snap-in connection.If upgrading an NX derailleur, it also replaces an o-ring with a wave washer. This removes a lot of play in the derailleur.

    No more wobbly derailer

    My gears where not shifting very well so I replaced a GX b bolt with this XX1 b bolt which is much better engineered. All the slack has gone and the gears index much better. There is no instructions but is easy to figure out how to fit.

    With careful shopping, you should be able to find a version of this one for around $17. Even at $36 Common price, it might be worth it.using this for your NX or SX derailleur will take the slop out of the mounting point, dramatically improving shifting over new, and removes the inevitable play that comes from the lower end derailleurs lower quality mounting hardware.At this point the shift quality of my NX derailleur is better than new GX, and significantly cheaper than replacing either NX derailleur, and miles cheaper than upgrading to GX.Installation is a 5 minute job.

    Solid Upgrade for a Sram GX Setup.

    I installed this on my Sram GX Derailleur in place of the existing hardware. Nothing was wrong with the former hardware, I just chose to do this upgrade. Is it necessary? That’s hard to tell but if you like to tinker with your bike and upgrade where you can, then this would fit the bill. I’d like to think I noticed a difference in shifting setup afterwards but maybe I just wanted to.The fact that this is used on the XX and fits the GX like a glove seemed like a no brainer for me. The GX is a fine package and great value for money that shares a lot of operating similarities with its more expensive brothers. Install was 5 mins. Plenty of Youtube content to walk you through that.

    I learned that this kit would upgrade my SRAM GX to an XO1 by installing this kit and I’m glad I upgraded. Quality parts that I know will last. The bushing in this kit is much better than the original GX design that will eventually wear out the bolt and derailer housing making for shifting issues. This kit results in crisp shifting that will last a long time. Relatively inexpensive upgrade and happy with the results.

    Worthwhile upgrade to NX Eagle

    Was debating whether to try this on my YT Izzo rear derailleur or just upgrade everything to Shimano SLX. My 11speed Sram on my Jeffsy works great, but the 12 speed NX on the Izzo was pretty terrible. IYKYK. This parts seems pretty expensive for a bolt kit, but I decided to give it a try. The Izzo shifts much better now. It will still over shift occasionally, but not nearly as often as it used to. The pivot is not all loose and sloppy like the original bolt was. And yes, I know how to set up a derailleur, have been doing them for decades. I would give 5 stars if the price was a little better.
