I have beat this thing up because I have several rear derailers and this one has been the most durable so far… I’m not saying any other names at the moment because maybe I got a bad derailleur from another company so I am holding my tongue. Like I said I have tourtured this one and it holds up, very stout.

Reliable Derailleur with a locking function
I got the NX Rear Derailleur 18 months ago. It has been on an old 26er hard tail and now my full suspension 29er e-bike. It has been reliable and shifts well even when muddy and dirty. I really like the ability to lock the NX in place to easily remove wheels. My only gripe is that the stock cassette range is limited to 42T. In hindsight I would have gotten an extended range cassette from sunrace or some other brand to take full of advantage of the NX’s shifting.

It’s terrific shifts great and is one of the best investments you can make. I did make the mistake of using the 11 to 50 tooth cassette with the short cage version but that didn’t work. Make sure to get the sram branded cassette. But other than that it’s terrific.

Lleva instalado en mi bici más de 8 meses y de momento todo bien. Funciona suave y cambia sin problemas. Recomiendo tomarse con calma la instalación y fijarse en como tiene que quedar todo antes de empezar a montarlo en la bici. No hace falta mirar instrucciones ni nada, pero si darle un par de vueltas antes de empezar , porque recuerdo que yo tuve algun desliz con el sitio por donde puse la sirga.

Silent. No give. No chain slap. Easy to install
Bought this as an upgrade for my Hyper Havoc DS build. 1×7 and it worked perfectly. Absolutely no chain slap even on drops or harder terrain. Heavy rocks eocks or jumps. I know I shouldnt be taking a walmart frame to bigger jumps. But everything ive added to it holds up like 1200 dollar bike including this little guy.My wofe rides this bike now and drops it all the time while trying to develop her skill. This thing ha son problems holding up.With all that being said, I did have to adjust it once. I dont run a plastic slappy flappy disc between the cassette and the spoke. So when it came out of adjustment, the chain got stuck between the cassette and the hub. No damage to anything. Only had to readjust the deraileur when we got home.All in all. Will be buying another for my specialized and WILL recomend to a friend

There is not much to say besides its a derailleur. A quality product that will break the first time you clip a rock on a trail. Then you get to shell out another paycheck for this stuff.

I use this with two wheel sets and no adapters. One is 10-46T and the other is 11-50T and there is no problem with either one. I’ve been running this since 2020 and have put tons of trail miles on it.

Great derailleur at this price point. Came as advertised and wasn’t missing any parts. This mech works great once adjusted properly, if you dont have experience with limit screws save yourself the frustration and take it to a bike shop, otherwise for the trained biker is a simple installation/adjustment thing. Had mine installed and dialed in 20 mins and ofcourse it shifts like a dream. One thing I will mention is dont mess with the type 3 clutch, just leave it alone, it has a lot of tension and keeps chain in place. If you start to get curious and try to adjust it you will mess it up…stay riding!!
