Surprisingly Good
As a bike mechanic, I’m surprised by how well SRAM’s Yaw front derailleurs work when set up correctly. Once in place, I had zero chain rub in any gear combination. In general, if setup correctly, it’s a great system not only for beginners who might not know/remember to trim their FD, but also for the general cyclist as it simplifies shifting. The chain catcher is a great addition and is highly recommended. Shimano is now the only remaining groupset manufacturer to not supply a chain catcher with their FDs.
