    When you strip out your current caps, these are what you want/need! !

    I needed replacement covers for my current ones bc they easily strip out if over tightened. They fit perfectly!

    WTF was Shimano thinking?

    These things strip constantly. I’m not sure who at Shimano decided that having a soft alloy bolt that uses a tiny hex key to access the bleed port on the shifter was a great idea. Why do I keep buying them?!?! BECAUSE THEY CONSTANTLY ARE STRIPPING.I really wish someone would make an aftermarket bolt out of brass so I didn’t have to deal with this every other brake bleed.At least the seal is good?

    Advert states it’s a universal fit for Shimano brakes, but it’s too big for Shimano M6120, so useless purchase.

    These screws….

    Why did i have to buy them and others as well? Because we didn’t make sure the key we were using is fully inserted in the screw. It’s not just the first half millimeter…. It’s about 2-3 mm you have to insert. Then the screw won’t be destroyed when fastening or unfastening. If your key doesn’t insert that deep, try a different one. If you don’t, buy the screw again the next time…

    Perfectos, no se puede decir nada más. Estropee uno del freno y en la tienda para sacarlo “destrozaron” la cabeza para que funcionará uno plano. Lo he cambio por estos para recuperar la estética.

    Fits Newer Ultegra

    I rounded off the head of the original and had the remove it using the Dremel method. I continued to use the bike with the Dremeled cap while I looked for a replacement and found this. It is a perfect fit for a newer Ultegra road brake lever (used on a 2022 Trek Domane) and appears to be identical to the original. Don’t expect to find a loose O-ring in the bag as shown in the photo… the O-ring is already installed.

    Tough to find locally

    I found the hex cap was stripped out on a friend’s bike when I went to service the brakes. The local shops that I called did not have this part in stock. At any rate it worked on a road bike with shimano hydraulic brakes.
