Getting old BB out was a little violent and destructive. Came out in pieces. Cleaned up the frame and followed the instructions from Shimano. Went in like it was designed to be there. Didn’t realize the old BB was as bad as it was until I got the new one installed.

I am a big fan of Shimano products, especially the Deore XT series. I worked in a bike shop for more than 10 years, the XT series was probably the most reliable parts series. No need to upgrade to XTR. This one needed to be replaces because the bike frame was defect and I had to replace the bottom bracket.
