Limited mounting options on small frames
Very expensive! Free with most other brands.5 sided mounting is difficult on most modern frames as the massive locking ‘bar/block’ interferes with pedal/feet or leg.Despite all the flexibility offered the 5 sided red plastic fitting for the U lock fixes the offset of the stowed lock on smaller frames

Works to hold the u lock from seaty but will slide on a rounded frame. I ended up using another lock to hold the u lock in place. Its made of plastic so not sure how well it will hold up.

El producto es bueno, sin embargo hay que tomar en cuenta la forma del cuadro de la bicicleta, en mi caso no es cilindrica, es cuadrada, por lo que la parte del soporte que va recargada en la bici no queda 100% acomodada, y la parte superior de mi bici tiene una curvatura hacia abajo, lo que no permite que mi candado que es el mas grande, quede totalmente centrado en el cuadro, sobresale muy poco, aun así no me estorba y puedo llevar mi candado sin problema.

NOT UNIVERSAL FIT! Seatylock FAILED on this junk.Ease of use – the worst possible design. Zero thought went into how this was going to fit into/on a frame and allow for crucial things like water bottle cage placement.There’s so many things that are wrong with this — don’t expect to attatch it to a mountain bike frame. Even a really basic Trek Marlin 5 frame. The security of the attachment is awful. The fact that this is the ONLY attachment that works for the Seatylock Mason and seatylock forces you to get this hot garbage to attach the Seatylock Mason is just cruel. It’s easy to see that durability is obviously going to be awful as well.ALSO, I shouldn’t have to buy this separately from the Seatylock mason. It’s nothing special, just a poorly designed way to get more money from you.

I like the concept if it would have actually worked the way it was designed to work. For me however it was simply too tight and the parts didn’t fit into each other and it also didn’t come close to fitting my Mason 220 ulock that I bought from you guys. I’m giving you guys 3 star because I like lock but I will be returning this item.

Worst lock design. Product developer had no clue what they were doing and clearly not a bike user nor used this lock! No way to mount it in the three MOST COMMON places on a bike! The main issue is the mount that goes on the lock, they really need to make it rotating! I don’t know how they thought 5 positions and 3 positions on a mount is enough or even how they set the position of the red mount! Just terrible. I can’t believe someone approved this! No wonder they didn’t include it with the lock because they would get far more returns for the lock, very clever from the sales team even if it’s unethical

Mounted Mason 300 U-Lock under the boom of my recumbent trike. This was the only mount I found that would allow it to be mounted on a post that was two inches in diameter. I used my own heavy duty zip ties (175 lbs. tensile strength). It is not all steel as the description would have you believe. The two adaptors are both made of plastic. Four stars for plastic. Hopefully the plastic holds and doesn’t drop off in the middle of a ride. The lock is too pretty to get scratched up bouncing down the rode at fifteen plus miles per hour. Not to mention the damage it may cause to the rear wheel.
