It works ok but is heavy
I have Suntour suspension seatpost on my other bike and this one works very similar. The adjustment and installation is simple and it appears to be very durable. It does effectively dampen harsh trails and makes for a much more comfortable ride. It has a good amount of travel but doesn’t bob excessively due to pedaling. Overall I recommend it as it is much less expensive compared to other options.

great for my aventon ebike
I bought this to replace my stock seatpost for a more comfortable ride on my aventon ebike. This paired with my upgraded seat I also got from amazon. The ride is much more comfortable than it was on my stock set up. I am a large guy. 6f1 and 250 pounds.

These made a great improvement on my bike. You can adjust it so it’s soft and kind of bouncy like a full suspension bike or you can tune it to just softening out the hardest bumps. Highly recommend recommended and this is a great price for one of these.

Safort Suspension Seatpost is a butt saver! I like that it is adjustable to compensate for a rider’s weight or trail conditions. It is also reasonably priced. I don’t think you get an improved ride with a more expensive seatpost for the average rider on rail trails, street, etc.

Great device! Installs easily and added a much needed comfort to my hard-tailed bike. Be aware that it adds almost 2 inches to the seat height. I’m 5’11” and I ended up cutting one inch off the seat tube to allow me to mount more comfortably.

Highly recommend for e-bikes with no suspension
This seat post is amazing. I have a really heavy Trek e-bike and even with a good seat every bump was jarring. I would feel it straight up my spine from my tailbone to my head. With this seat post that issue is completely gone. It has the perfect balance of tension and give to take the bumps without bouncing you or making you unstable.
