Nice way to convert Clipless to Platform for quick jaunts
Exactly what I wanted to be able to hop on the bike for quick trips around the city when needed. I hate having to put on my clipless shoes when running out to grab something from the store. Yes, super annoying that they naturally make the pedal go clipless side up. My pedals are dual sided so I’m going to buy a second set to install so that I don’t have to deal with that issue.I was concerned about the stiffness of these considering they are water or laser cut from 4 mm aluminum plate. They are plenty stiff for good power transfer. Nothing annoys me like squishy pedals. I wear a size 11 shoes so I recommend getting the large size adapters for anyone whose shoes size is 9 or larger.One other observation is that you probably want to crank up your clipless pedal’s tension for these. It makes them harder to get in but keeps them in there when you’re riding. I set my tension low for easy insertion and removal. Welp, they were too easy to remove and can easily twist them out with my feet. So I recommend increasing tension and when you need to remove the adapters, use your foot to twist them out of your pedals.

Learning to use clipless pedals
I am trying to get used to clipless pedals. I got this item for times when I am just not comfortable using the cleat system. They work pretty well. The pedal always ends up clipless pedal side up for when I want to clip in, but I can use my toe to flip the pedal so I can use the platform. Since I use spin shoes right now for my cleats I can switch back and forth between the two sides. Once I settle on a pair of cycling shoes I might have to rethink the way i use these. I put regular SPD cleats on the platform and just attach them to the pedals. This version also accepts other cleat styles.

easy to flip imho, pretty secure, convenient
USE: recommend for short (2 mi) casual rides, and if you primarily use clipsSTARTS: Easy enough to flip: I almost didn’t buy these because of so many complaints that it’s difficult to flip the pedal on starts. imho, it’s only slightly more difficult than clipping in. The pedal always flips upside down, so I just put the arch of my shoe forward on the front edge of the (upside down) pedal, flip back so that my toe ends up on top of the pedal, and adjust slightly from there.INSTALL: I can install these in SPD (loose) clips BY HAND, and I’m small (5’4″, female). It might be more difficult with other clip styles or tighter settings~RIDING: The pedals don’t twist out on me accidentally, even if I stand up on them. But if I feel then twist slightly, it’s easy to twist them back while pedaling (SPD, single direction, loose)HEIGHT: the increased height bothers me a little, so I should raise my seat a little to compensate. But since I only use these on short casual rides, I haven’t bothered to adjust the seat yet.

No the greatest for my crank bros pedals
Although they fit with no issues they don’t work really well. Because of the weight they will always turn over, When you do get them over and start pedaling they move around and more then once was did i manage to unclip them and the plate almost fell out. I was able to help this by using zip ties but that kind of defeats the purpose of using these.

Difficult to remove
I bought these for my Peleton bike. I like clipless pedals but my wife prefers platforms. These are a good solution. My only issue is how difficult they are to remove. I used an Allen key on the pedal clip tension screw to open the clip to aid in removal. Too painful to remove barehanded as the pins on the platform are a pretty sharp.

Works as it should
Works as it should. Good grip. Need to get used to fiddling the pedals to get it upside up, but that’s the pedal construction fault, not this adapters. Can be easily installed and taken off the pedals.

A good product if you can overcome 2 minor inherented issues: 1) platform decreased leg pedal stroke length; 2) platform has some float.

Great quality pedals
Easy to install, just set the clip on the pedal and press down with your foot and it clicks into place. There are little metal pieces that provide a really good grip.
