    Good initial impression

    This is my first chain keeper so I don’t know how it compares to other products, but it seems well built. Cleaning the chain with a chain cleaning machines was so much easier to do with the chain keeper than having my wheel on. TBD, but hopefully this product lasts.

    I could never get this to lock into the bike frame and eventually just threw the thing away. Lesson learned, buy the nicer branded stuff. You get what you pay for.

    Not a lot to say here other than this product just works and is a lot cheaper than the name brand. Makes it much easier to clean my bike.

    This is what I have been needing for my bike cleaning

    Can’t believe I put myself through the misery of cleaning the bike without one of these. I used to just let the chain route itself as I tried to degrease it. This thing allows it to flow smoothly. Awesome!

    Good product – even better with nylon spacer

    Works well. Didn’t like how you are supposed flip the bushings for the larger width frames. Instead I found it much easier to just slide a 1/2″ nylon spacer on the shaft and keep the bushings aligned the proper way for seating in the QR dropouts. Road frame = no spacer. MTB or X-bike insert the spacer.

    Easy to assemble, has worked on every bike I have tried it on (three so far). Nice to be able to run through gears with rear wheel off.

    Get what you pay for

    This product is functional but very fiddly to install on the bike. Feels like poor quality. I’d get something different if I had to purchase again.
