Good for normal winters.
Great looking cap, light weight and out of the way when not in use. Good coverage all around and is snug on the head. It will for sure keep in heat for anything over 10 to 15. Get to zero or below and its non existant even with a buff under it. But those are rare times and need a little more of everything. Thats why its only 4. Other than that i really like it.

Works for our needs!
I got this to fit under my 8 year old’s hockey helmet for when he was learning to skate. Unfortunately it ended up being difficult to find something for kids at a good price. Figured we would give this a try. To my surprise it fit his head well enough to not be oversized under his helmet. Loose yes, but still worked for our needs surprisingly enough!

Cold Hands Warm Head
I never really understood the attraction of a beanie beneath a cycling helmet. That was until we had some extremely cold weather here in Vancouver and I just had a haircut! Not only did this beanie keep my head warm, it also protected the ears. In fact, it was so well fitting that I hardly noticed it at all during my ride. Some have suggested that it is also good if you want to wear airpods whilst riding. Tried that, but wouldn’t recommend it. IEMs have tendency to pop out and need to be reinserted, something you cannot easily do with your helet on and whilst wearing a beanie. That, I am sure is true of any cycling skull cap. Not too sure what they mean by “Glasses Holes” as I couldn’t find any (and I do wear glasses), but it didn’t really my use of the product.

This cap is great — very comfortable and keeps you warm. I’ve used it all winter and it is very effective at low temperatures. I’ve worn it comfortably all the way down to 14 F (-10 C). It is a definite “re-buy” for the future.

Cap fits well and covers my ears. It is noisy-meaning you can hear it rub against your collar. It is super warm and wind proof.

Excellent Winter Skull Cap
I bought this with their balaclava 4 years ago and it continues to be great in all adverse weather conditions. I wear it on top of the balaclava and go biking, hiking, and use it any time I need protection from wind and cold. It’s easily washable and has held up really well over the years. Highly recommended.
