ONE cleat & mounting hardware. Good engagement, hold & disengagement. True Shimano compatibility.
This is a SINGLE cleat that has 6° of float, no other float options are available for this cleat. Most of my other shoes also have cleats providing 6° of float, it’s probably the most commonly used float amount.You get one (1) cleat, the mounting hardware and a small 4mm Allen key/ wrench for tightening the mounting bolts.I tested this cleat on several bikes with different pedals. I tried it on several versions of Shimano pedals to include old Dura Ace pedals, Ultegra pedals, 105 pedals, and PD R-540 pedals. It snapped into place with a nice resounding click, held firmly and when I went to disengage from each of these Shimano pedals it resisted nicely but disengaged without requiring excessive force. It did exactly what any experienced cyclist would love to have happen. I’m thrilled with the pedal entry and exit of this cleat on Shimano brand SPD-SL road pedals!I also tried it on Exustar branded pedals. I never did get it to fully engage with the Extra star pedals. I had the same experience with another brand of cleats, but they both finally did work. I’ll go back and try this cleat again later. If I get it to work properly on the Exustar pedals, I will come back and edit this review.In the end, this single cleat does exactly what it is are supposed to do and it does it very well! I really like the secure engagement and yet being able to unclip without too much force or torquing on my joints.

Seems Identical to Shimano
I’ve been riding SPD-SL cleats for over 20 years and am very fond of the system. These Pinsyc SPD-SL cleats with 6 degrees of float, which is what I’ve always used, appears to be identical to the Shimano offering. The rubber and plastic looks and feels the same, it bolts up the same, and it fits and floats in the pedals the same. It should last as long as the originals and is just as easy to use. It comes with full mounting hardware.The Pinsync cleat costs about 75% of the Shimano’s price, so it’s a decent value. There are other aftermarket SPD-SL cleats available for even less, but I can’t comment about them for I haven’t even seen one. I’ve always used the Shimano cleats, but these Pinsync seem very good indeed. I’ll revise this review in about a thousand miles if the cleats don’t measure up to the Shimanos with use, but for now I think they are worthy of these FIVE STARS.

Bad cleats
Worst cleats ever!!!! Thinner than shimano cleats they broke mid race and I almost went down! Jammed my leg and now have to see an orthopedic doctor. The front tab broke but I couldn’t see it because the yellow plastic held it in place when not in use. Of all the products to go cheap on…

Great value replacement for cyclist
Great replacements, I already have cleats of this type and I simply traced my footing and replaced. Easy swap out at an excellent value. I found the material to be fairly durable, due to the nature of this part being worn down with time and walking it is at an expected pace with the material being what it is.

SINGLE CLEAT
I bought this as a replacement for a worn SPD-SL cleat, and installation was about as easy as swapping any other cleat. It comes with the mounting screws, washers, and even a small Allen wrench, so I had everything I needed right out of the package. Once installed, clipping in and out of my Shimano pedals felt smooth and secure with a nice amount of float, and I didn’t notice any difference from the original cleats during my rides.The build quality seems solid for the price, and it’s a good budget-friendly option if you just need to replace a worn cleat without spending a lot. Good Cleat, But Why Would You Only Replace One?
Here’s my thing: I’ve been cycling for over 25 years and I’ve always replaced both cleats at the same time, regardless of wear difference between the two. It just makes sense to start both at the same level. I can’t think of a scenario where I’d want mismatched wear on my pedal system. The packaging said “cleats” but only one was inside, which is technically what they’re selling — but if I’m buying two anyway, I’d rather just get a pair. Interesting concept, just not for me.

They work but that’s about it
What can I say this is about the third one of these that I’ve purchased that are all off brands and they’re all the exactly the same, I don’t know what I’m expecting to get by ordering these again. Rant over. Basically they’re cheap and brittle and they wear out quickly. You’re better off buying the original brand and it will last quite a bit longer and you won’t have to change them out and risk losing your cleat position so often. I don’t know if you’re on an extreme budget. They’re okay, but definitely not for an avid cyclist that rides multiple times per week. If you ride once in a blue moon. Sure, but if you’re an avid cyclist forget it
