I don’t think I’ll use another cycle parts store. The ones in my area are notorious for selling sub par clones. This Shimano rear derailleur works perfect and is exactly what I needed. Heads up though, if you’ve broken your rear derailleur, you’ll likely also need the appropriate rear derailleur hanger. I made the mistake of not ordering one since this one said it came with a mounting bracket. My mistake. But this part and this company are great! Highly recommended

it’s the exact same Shimano 6 speed derailleur I had on my E bike that you can see on the first picture got all twisted up. I’m very pleasantly reporting that the most difficult thing was finding a little wrench to tighten the shifter cable which is 11/32, a very odd size and thanks to my dad leaving me a few old school odd sized wrenches in his tool set when he passed on. I had some bonus points that made this even cheaper than the advertised price. I may even get me a backup one day because if it breaks again it took a week to get this one. UPDATE: A GREAT value now I put some HARD riding on it! I am an old school BMX guy that is 51 years old and never once had a bike with any kind of shifter derailleur whatsoever. On my first ebike I replaced the derailleur after it got consumed (LOL) by the back wheel, on the way to a long trip actually, thankfully I was really close to the house. The replacement went on well but it took a long time to figure how to set it and shift at least to give me five out of 7 gears which is fine for my daily rider ebike. When the original six speed derailleur on my fun ebike got chewed up in the chain, I was very worried that the replacement would be similar and the shifting would be all messed up like my other E bike. I found out pleasantly that it really was pretty much set when I installed this new one I got here and I barely had to adjust it and I even put a new cable. Soft quiet clean shifting, nice clicks when it does.
