These are wonderful grocery/farmer’s market panniers
These……are the BOMB! Bought myself an electric bike recently so I could pedal/coast up to the farmer’s market, grocery store, thrift store and such in my area and needed something to put my purchases in. Had tried a basket-type backpack the first time out shopping……nope, not going to work. The back pack made me top heavy….caused a small crash onto the grass in my yard coming home (an aside….am an old person….balance is usually good….but top-heavy didn’t end well….no injuries…..a lot of laughing though and spilling of groceries) so I needed something on the bike to take the weight. Looked at a lot of choices on Amazon and felt these were the best choice for me.The panniers are easy….EASY…to install….they just hook on and off….which means you can take them off and carry them into the store or at the farmer’s market to load your purchases. The size per basket is large enough to fit a big grocery bag (in US we have the option still of brown paper bags….these will slide right inside the basket) so good large storage space. The bottom is sturdy so you can load them up and there is a carrying handle for when you take them off (handle could use a reinforcement there like wraparound holder….but that’s just a picky thought not a complaint). The material is sturdy and waterproof although the set does not come with a cover so your stuff will get wet if riding home in the rain ( in Florida….that happens a LOT). Also with the panniers on the bike there doesn’t seem to be much room on the back rack for a top basket unless it’s long and skinny…..isn’t a concern for me as I am not commuting any distance, just puttering around my neighborhood. The panniers will fold up while on the bike when not in use. Best of all the price is terrific for what you are getting; others I looked at were much more expensive and didn’t really impress me for what I needed.All in all these were the best choice for me and I am definitely pleased with them. They are large enough to carry a nice picnic and a few supplies to the park or beach…..which is what us old people do when we are not at the farmer’s market.In summary these are well-made panniers, large capacity, open at the top and able to be removed easily. If this is what you are looking for then they will work for you as well as they work for me. Enjoy!

Durable and definitely worth the money!
Really well made; of which includes metal bar supports and other high-quality materials. Very durable. I am able to carry two filled grocery bags on each side (ensure they are done properly and not to exceed 15 pounds total each side) without any problem. Very easy to remove and put back on the rear rack with absolutely no problem. Definitely a great deal. Looks like they’ll give good service for at least a few years.

Hoped for better
Tie down loops on only front side makes them almost useless – impossible to keep stuff from bouncing out when driving over bumps. Made a big mess but luckily didn’t get hit by a car. Bare metal hooks also scratched up my bike rack. Not impressed!

Low quality materials
I really like the bags, but I’ve only been using one and after about 2 weeks of daily use there’s already a tear in it. Not overloading it (just a light backpack with my laptop and lunch). Disappointed in the quality.

These hold a lot of groceries. And they fold flat when not being used to carry things. Very sturdy bottom and frame. Good quality.They fit my Ebike scooter. I’ve used them 2 times so far.

velcro flap
Love these! I added a small strip of velcro to the flap inside of the bag to help when it is raining, or I’m worried about something bumping out! They are perfect! Love the pattern!

A great pannier to match your folder
Not gonna lie, I had lower expectations for this bag. It’s tough, thick, rigid, and reinforced with pretty nice metal bars inside.It’s a bit heavy on its own, but considering the above perks, I wouldn’t deduct points for that. Just take note of it if you’re concerned about weight, since chances are you’re going to carry heavy loads with these bags too.My only wish is for the pannier mounts to have some coating of sorts to avoid scratching the rack, but that’s as easy to fix as adding tape over the rack. A net over the baskets would be cool too, but that’s already a cheap enough accessory I can’t complain about it.Its durability plus the small enough size to fit the front pannier rack of a 20″ folder, it’s definitely a worthwhile purchase 🙂
